Cristiano Ronaldo once again stole the spotlight for Al-Nassr as they swept aside Pitso Mosimane’s Abha Club in a dominant display.

In a remarkable continuation of his recent top form, Ronaldo netted his second hat-trick in just three days, guiding the Knights of Najd to a commanding 8-0 triumph at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium.

The 39-year-old kicked off proceedings with a stroke of luck, capitalizing on a defensive error by Romanian goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu to break the deadlock from a free-kick after only 11 minutes.

Ronaldo then showcased his expertise by doubling the lead with a brilliantly executed set-piece, deftly lifting the ball over the Abha wall. He further contributed by providing an assist to Sadio Mane, extending Al-Nassr’s advantage, before securing his own hat-trick with a magnificent lobbed finish – his 65th career hat-trick and 29th goal of the season from 24 appearances, as documented by Transfermarkt.

In a display of his all-around skills, Ronaldo also provided a masterful assist to Abdulmajeed Al Sulaiheem just before halftime, capping off a near-perfect first half before taking a well-deserved rest alongside Mane.

Al-Nassr’s dominance continued into the second half, with Abdulrahman Ghareeb adding another goal shortly after the break.

Substitute Abdulaziz Al Elewai made an immediate impact, scoring his first goal of the campaign and then adding a second, capitalizing on a defensive lapse to seal the resounding 8-0 victory.

This impressive win not only marked Al-Nassr’s largest victory margin of the season but also inflicted Abha’s heaviest defeat, surpassing their previous 7-0 loss to Al-Hilal in December.
